“Computer Space” seeks to show the modern trends in the field of computer arts. The forum is divided in two parts – competition and festival.

The competition part of the forum gathers projects in different categories from all over the world, which struggle against each other for the first places of “Computer Space”.
Everybody can participate in the competition part with a project (one or more), as long as it complies with the Participation Rules. The project should be registered in one of the following categories:

The projects registration continues for a few months, usually starting in spring and ending in autumn. When the registration is over, the projects are evaluated by an independent jury of experts in the fields of the categories of the competition. The jury determines the winners, and at first it nominates five projects in each category as potential winners. The nominees are announced on the Computer Space site usually one month before the award ceremony. The 1-st, 2-nd and 3-rd place, as well as the winners of special prizes, are announced during the award ceremony.

Usually the festival part consists of two events – the awarding ceremony and the forum part (seminars, exhibition, show events, concerts).During the awarding ceremony all the nominated projects in each category are presented. As already mentioned, the winners in each category, as well as the winners of special awards are announced and awarded. Traditionally, President of Bulgaria, Minister of Education and Science, Minister of Culture, managers of Microsoft Bulgaria, Apple – Bulgaria (BBS), Adobe – Bulgaria, Information Services and many others participate and bestow prizes on the winners. The ceremony is accompanied by a rich and interesting show program.

The seminars are carried out for several days. The accents are on various topics from different spheres of the computer art and technology. The participants in these seminars are from all over the world, and the lectors and their topics are carefully selected by the organizers of “Computer Space”. Everyone who wants to participate in the seminars can check the Festival part participation rules . This year’s seminar program could be found in the Events Schedule section.
